The chatbot offers clear, conversational responses based on content from the HR website. To help you get the best results, please review the following guidance:
What to Expect
- Ask one clear question at a time for the most accurate responses.
- The chatbot will remind you not to enter any personal information for security reasons, so it is unable to offer personalized guidance.
- The chatbot’s knowledge is limited to content on hr.umn.edu and does not include HR Community resources.
- It cannot provide guidance for navigating other University of Minnesota sites, such as my.umn.edu or hrms.umn.edu.
- It is not connected to chatbots on other UMN websites (e.g., oit.umn.edu) and cannot reference their content.
- The chatbot is not a replacement for HR Professionals. If a response seems incorrect or your situation is complex, please consult your HR Professional for assistance.
Ongoing Support and Improvements
Extensive testing and content refinement have been completed to ensure accuracy and consistency at launch. After release, a dedicated team will monitor performance and continue improving the chatbot.
