Leadership Development Opportunity for Supervisors

The application window is open August 15- 25 for the Supervisory Development Course. Please encourage supervisors and managers to apply for the course which runs September 13- December 6. Participants will develop and improve their leadership and supervisory skills such as feedback, coaching, conflict management, selection and hiring, onboarding, and more. Registration closes on August 25, 2023.

New Employee Orientation Requirements

A reminder that a new law allows unions to have in-person access to new employees in the bargaining unit for 30 minutes of paid time within 30 days of starting employment. 

Contact Information Required Every 120 Days

Public employers must provide certain contact information to an exclusive representative for all bargaining unit employees every 120 days.
