New Accommodations Law

As an employer, we are required to provide notification of the Minnesota’s Nursing Mothers, Lactating Employees, and Pregnancy Accommodations law (Minnesota Statutes §181.939) which gives pregnant and lactating employees certain legal rights as described in this notice.

All hiring letter templates have been updated to include the appropriate language.

A reminder that a new law allows unions to have in-person access to new employees in the bargaining unit for 30 minutes of paid time within 30 days of starting employment. 

Public employers must provide certain contact information to an exclusive representative for all bargaining unit employees every 120 days.
