UMN Bike Program

Biking is a great form of exercise that is more environmentally friendly and reduces traffic congestion. Earn 25 points per day through the Virgin Pulse program using the reader through UMN Parking & Transportation ZAP program or by manually logging your rides through the bike form from September 1, 2022-August 31, 2023.

If you commute to the Duluth, Morris, or Twin Cities campus locations, you may register to have your bike rides automatically tracked. See the following information per campus location below for more information on how to add a ZAP tag to your bike:

Account to Zap: Register your Nice Ride membership with Dero ZAP tag, provided by Parking and Transportation. When registering your ZAP tag, please use your legal last name. From there, every time you check out a bike from any Nice Ride Station with your member key. Any ride will count as a "ZAP" for the day.

Manual tracking for any location using this paper form.
