This three-part series of 75-minute online workshops offered by the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing includes information about three pillars of nutritional approaches to mental health: diet, micronutrients, and the microbiome. You will learn how micronutrients and the microbiome impact common conditions like depression, anxiety, and ADHD, and dietary strategies commonly used to support mental and cognitive health.

Workshop #2: Microbiome and probiotics for mental health

  • Learn the basics of the microbiome is: what it is and how it impacts mood
  • Become familiar with dietary and lifestyle practices that support a healthy microbiome

Cost: The suggested registration fee is $15 per workshop. The Bakken Center also offers a scholarship rate ($10) and supporter rate ($20) for those who would like to support others attending at the scholarship rate.
