The University's Office of Human Resources is committed to fostering a diverse workforce by integrating equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into all aspects of human resources, with a focus on culturally competent leadership, systemic barrier mitigation, and diverse talent pipeline development.

The EDI team at the University's Office of Human Resources, led by Senior Director Angel Uddin and Program Coordinator Amani Burale, offers various services to assist with equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts, including consultations, strategy development, and event participation.

The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), a 50-item online questionnaire used by the University's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) team as a confidential baseline tool to assess a department or unit's cultural competence.

The discussion toolkits from the University's Office of Human Resources are a series of resources designed to help teams understand how equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) are integrated into their daily work through experiential learning and guided discussions with EDI staff.

The University's Office of Human Resources collaborates with various university partners, such as the Diversity Community of Practice, Faculty and Academic Affairs, the Lactation Advocacy Committee, and the Office for Equity and Diversity, to embed and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) throughout the institution.

HR Inclusion in Practice is a program that brings together human resources professionals from across the University to cultivate an inclusive and equity-focused workplace by sharing knowledge and skills in practicing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in their daily work.
