This assessment is designed to provide an academic leader perspective on how they meet the challenges they face in their role as a head or chair.
Questions in the assessment are based on skills and behaviors this leader uses to contribute to the department/division/school/cooperative’s and school/college/campus’s long-term success. Participation from raters will provide the leader with feedback on perceptions around their leadership effectiveness. The academic leader will also have the opportunity to rate themselves. All non managerial responses are strictly confidential. Results of this assessment will be helpful for building self-awareness and to provide input for development planning for overall improved leadership.
