What to Expect

- The chatbot will remind you not to enter any personal information for security reasons, so it is unable to offer personalized guidance.
- The chatbot’s knowledge is limited to content on hr.umn.edu website. It cannot provide guidance for navigating other University of Minnesota sites, such as my.umn.edu or hrms.umn.edu.
- It is not connected to chatbots on other UMN websites (e.g., oit.umn.edu) and cannot reference their content.
- The chatbot is not a replacement for HR Professionals. If a response seems incorrect or your situation is complex, please consult your HR Professional for assistance.
If the chatbot can’t fully answer your question, you can submit a ticket for follow-up by our contact center team. We’ll also continue to monitor the chatbot’s performance and improve it over time based on real user interactions.
