The Office of Human Resources has compiled a comprehensive toolkit for faculty and staff to navigate immigration-related activity on campus. This new resource features a range of immigration-related and HR tools, including specific guidance for supervisors on supporting employees and students.
The toolkit is now available as a resource z.umn.edu/fac_staff_guidance. The resource encourages supervisors to review the Office of the General Counsel’s guidance, updated on Jan. 14, and provides actionable information to share with student employees. Additional information is available from the Rapid Response resources on federal immigration policies and federal enforcement in Minnesota..
To further support front-line staff, physical flyers and digital screen graphics are being developed to provide additional guidance and visibility for these resources across the University.
