Graduate Assistant (GA) Appointment Letters Communication

As a reminder, when departments have finished sending out their summer GA appointment letters, they should notify  GAs who held appointments in the previous term and who remain eligible for GA positions, regardless of whether they have been hired.

The message can be as simple as:

 “This serves to notify (in accordance with Article 17, Section 6 of the CBA) that (Department) appointment letters have gone out for (Term).” 

Per the collective bargaining agreement, this should occur for each fall and spring semester as well.  Please inform those in your college who are responsible for GA appointment letters.
