The Office of Human Resources invites all supervisors to learn more about the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) during their FMLA 101 for Supervisors webinar on Thursday, February 22.
The FMLA is a federal law that provides eligible employees with job-protected leave for certain family and medical reasons. During this session, you will learn about:
- What FMLA is and who's eligible for leave
- Reasons employees can take FMLA leave
- Request process for an FMLA leave
- Supervisor responsibilities on notification and communication during FMLA leave
This session will be led by the Leave Administration Team, who will provide insights and answer any questions you may have about FMLA. Whether you're new to the concept or need a refresher, this training is designed to empower you with the knowledge necessary to navigate FMLA with confidence.
