Medical - Age 65 and Over

As a retired University of Minnesota employee, you pay the full cost of your medical benefits. However, because you are still included in the University's employee group insurance contracts, the rates you pay are lower than what you would pay for a similar individual plan. Your monthly premium will depend on the plan you choose. Learn more about the health benefits available to you as a University of Minnesota retiree with the 2022 Retiree Benefits Annual Enrollment Guide (pdf).
