Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week, evidence-based, experiential program providing in-depth training in mindfulness meditation and movement practices, and how to integrate mindfulness into daily life. This program, hosted by the Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing, harnesses our inner resources and has been demonstrated to enhance emotional resilience. The program schedule consists of one orientation class (1 hour), eight weekly classes (2.5-3 hours), and one daylong retreat on a Saturday or Sunday (6.5 hours).
You can earn 5,700 Wellbeing Points for completing at least six of the eight program sessions plus the all-day retreat and completing the final program evaluation.
