Open Enrollment Ends Dec. 2

Time is almost up for Open Enrollment changes—the deadline is Monday, December 2! You can enroll on MyU to make changes to medical, dental, FSA, voluntary disability insurance, and additional life insurance benefits. Learn more about benefits offerings, rate changes, and resources on the Open Enrollment web page.

If you do not participate in Open Enrollment, your 2025 benefits will remain the same as they were in 2024 except Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). If you want an FSA for 2025, you must enroll by December 2, even if you had one in 2024.

All benefit changes become effective on January 1, 2025.

Reach out to the OHR Contact Center by emailing benefits@umn.edu or calling 612-624-8647 or 800-756-2363 and selecting option 1 if you have questions. 

The Contact Center also offers interpretation services in more than 240 languages to help get your benefit questions answered in your preferred language. To use the service, call the Contact Center and say you’d like to add an interpreter to the call.
